Generosity asks us to trust God with something that feels bigger than what we can see. That is what 100 percent engagement has meant from the start. Not the same step for everybody. Every one of us willing to ask, God, what are You asking of me?

This summer, God was already at work in the answers. Kids and students went to camp. Almost as many people served at VBS as there were children in the room. More than 400 of us packed meals for children we will never meet. And 32 people were baptized. One family prayed separately, landed on the same number, and said yes before they knew how it would work. That is the journey.

The midpoint is ahead of us. Keep asking the question. Keep saying yes to the step in front of you. The best is yet to be.
